In 1998, Richard Szikman graduated from Boston University School of Dentistry and completed a one-year residency in advanced general dentistry at the Boston University. He is a member of the Georgia Dental Association, the American Dental Association, Academy of Computerized Dentistry, and Academy of General Dentistry.
